All classes presented here are provided by YourClassroom.com training professionals.  They are currently scheduled on an as-needed basis and can be customized to fit your specific needs.  Ask us about group discounts for 3 or more participants from your organization!

Train The Trainer

This class is scheduled as needed and intended as a way to get you started using the YourClassroom.Com tools.  Learn how to create a class, do basic look/feel modifications, how to do a backup, configure forums, create a survey, upload files and create web documents with embedded video.

This class consists of two 1 hour live sessions with one of our experts and as much non-live communication as you need over the course of 2 weeks.  Each live session will have about 30 minutes of presentation, followed by Q&A type discussion of the specific topics you have an interest in.

This class can (and usually is) be customized to your specific needs.

Advanced Classroom Techniques

This class is intended for those of you who have completed the Train The Trainer class or are very comfortable with the basics of how to use the various classroom tools. (items from the TTT class will NOT be covered)

Learn how to do some of the advanced things you can do with a class:  custom layout design, Templates, self-directed Learning Paths (including audio overlay), Tests, Sessions and how to design a class or series of classes for use in the real world.

There will be a minimum of 4 live 1 hour presentation sessions and 4 live 1 hour "office is open" discussion sessions, along with as much asynchronous communications (forums, email) as needed.

  • The Northwest Education and Training Institute is working with Wonderearth Partners to put on a live online Panel Discussion on Understanding Atmospheric Carbon Mitigation for Businesses.  The seminar opens on October 1st, 2009 and will run thru October; The opening keynote address and presenter panel discussion will take place live from Roseburg, Oregon on October 15th and available online.  Registration opens on October 1st.  Get more information and Register at www.businessnorthwest.org. You are able to register at anytime over the 30 day period and have access to all the presentations as well as communicate with all presenters.  There is a link to pay for the conference, so you can do it all in one smooth process. The cost of the seminar is $20.00 and is good for 30 days of great sessions on carbon mitigation for small businesses.

 

  • The Northwest Education and Training Institute (NWETI) is now open using yourclassroom.com.  The institute works with business and education to create a multiversity for education.  The classes and programs at the institute combine face to face instruction in the classroom with elearning and community service projects.  Check out the programs at www.nweti.com.  In addition to offerings from educational and training organizations, individuals and groups can request special topic courses.  Businesses are working together to provide the content and public land management agencies are providing the demonstration projects on public lands.
